The Old Man's Time Travel

(click to read before)...It was already too late to be outside and roaming alone. After everything I experienced, this night was enough for me to change the perception towards everything. Walking through the footpath, looking through the window of memories to the street lights seemed really beautiful but it couldn't continue due to sprinkling rain with open sky . The faster I walked the more I got wet, thinking not to stop until I reach my doorstep but suddenly someone from footpath shouted…

“hello, hello.. you will get wet , come here, I have an umbrella, com'on. Its heavy rain and you won't be able to make it to home without getting wet”

Usually I don't bother about the weather or rain but the way and with the intensity that person called me was really unavoidable. So I went under his Umbrella.

So you love rain or may be so hurry to return ? You should stop behind the sheds when it rains, you know it really makes you sick but you won't understand this right now Caz of your young blood” and finally that Old man started conversation with his sarcastic words.

(Yes the old man, with beards , moustaches, unsettled hair, face was glowing a little bit may be because of the street light reflections through the rain droplets , wearing a typical Indian shirt pant. At one instant I thought he was a beggar but the hand watch on which he was looking regularly doesn't looked like a beggar. May be a Night guard, shop owner I don't know why but this time I was in trouble to figure out his reality through the glimpse I had of him )

what's your name? Don't you think roaming alone at night with half drunk body makes you vulnerable to crimes ? It's not safe, you need to take care of yourself, staying away from home is not always fun. My words may seem harsh to you but I have experienced life more than you. You don't need to worry uncle, I am fine. I live my life with open sky not inside the case of good or bad. And BDW I don't have anything which makes me vulnerable to crime. All I have is one mobile , few money in account and that's all. What else they can take from me and I don't think anyone would be interested in my body parts and they will try to snatch my Kidney, Liver or heart. So, Keep calm you Old man. It's not your age to worry about. And I made a funny gesture to him with a little bit of derision. I understand, Me the Old man, with old age, generation gap. You are right. So, you think you know everything and you are not scared of anything. Am I right ? If it’s right.. then I find the same of me in you or I would better say you are me and I am you. Said the old man..

What are you thinking, Is something about me bothering you or thinking of getting wet and go home? But I’ll still suggest you to wait until rain stops. Season changing, you might fall sick.

(That time he seems to be getting my attention with his unrequired care for me and it forced me to reply)
Oh , com'on, I can't get sick, These tiny droplets of water can't scare me & you don't need to worry about Me. I am fine, It's late .. i need to return .. I replied with some anger

I know, you won't and you'll never get sick from Rain. You are not scared of anything if you were then you might have stayed inside the room. Huh .. same young blood like same old me. ..Said the old man.

(His sarcasm was really bitter to swell inside but by respecting his age I stayed quiet and I knew that he won’t stop bothering me and yeah,  he continued having conversation with me.)
